An Introduction to Nucleic Acids: About this Lecture

This lecture is a brief introduction to nucleic acids. Parts of this lecture originally appeared in an undergraduate course entitled "Foundations in Molecular Biophysics". The course was given at Rutgers University in the Spring of 1996 by Helen M. Berman, Professor of Chemistry. The course was greatly enhanced by the use of the World Wide Web by incorporating both internal and external WWW sites as an education tool during class lectures. Christine Zardecki assisted in the development of this course.

This lecture uses WWW sites from the:

NDB ("The NDB Atlas",

)

MIT ("The Biology Hypertextbook",

University of Akron ("General, Organic and Biochemistry",
